Q What is CBD?

A CBD short for Cannabidiol, is one of the most prevelant cannabinoids found in cannabis plant hemp. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive. The effects of CBD may include: alerting at low doses, sedating at high doses, reduces pain, relaxes muscle spasms, potent anti-inflammatory, stops nausea/vomiting, reduces anxiety/depression, counters psychotic thoughts, anti-oxidant, anti-convulsant, neuro-protectant, and anti-tumor effects.

Q Is CBD legal?

A On December 20th, 2018 the Farm Bill declared that all “hemp” extracts, including CBD, are legal agricultural products provided that they contain <0.3% THC.

Q What are terpenes?

A Terpenes are the essential oils found in cannabis that give the plant its disctinctive aroma and flavor. Terpenes work synergistically with the cannabinoids like CBD in what researchers call the entourage effect.

Q What is the entourage effect?

A The Entourage Effect results when the different components within the hemp plant interact with the body to produce a stronger influence than any one of those components alone.

Q What is CBD Isolate?

A CBD in its purest form, free of other cannabinoids, terpenes and compounds.

Q What is Broad Spectrum?

A Whole plant hemp extract which includes many different cannabinoids, flavanoids, fatty acids and terpenes found in the plant. THC is then removed from the extract to produce a Broad spectrum product.

Q What is Full Spectrum?

A Whole plant hemp extract which includes many different cannabinoids, flavanoids, fatty acids and terpenes found in the plant. Full spectrum products include a small amount of THC (less than 0.3%) which can cause a user to fail a drug test since THC has been consumed.

Q Where is your hemp grown?

A Our Hemp is sourced from a family farm in Kentucky.

Q Are your products derived from Hemp or Marijuana?

A All of our products are derived from Hemp.

Q Is there any medical research or studies on CBD?

A There are a lot of scientific studies on CBD. We reccomend projectcbd.org, a non profit organization dedicated to publishing the research available on CBD so all consumers can do their own research and learn about the various cannabinoids and how they interact with your body.
